I’ve been in the IT field for almost 12 years now and have really been fortunate to witness the evolution of the web and web services during the “dotcom” boom, the explosion of virtualization, and now the snickerings of cloud computing. I have spent countless number of hours pouring over books, web blogs, forums- basically anything I could get my hands on to increase my knowledge base and have a better understanding of the technology that I work with daily. I have never been driven enough to obtain certifications or titles but just recently I decided to take a stab and got my CCNA. I am now studying for my CCNP and hope to take a look at the certs offered by F5. I am vendor agnostic for the most part but I do recognize industry leaders when I see them.
I am currently studying to take the 642-901 BSCI exam which should be the largest and most cumbersome of the four on the NP path.
